Welcome to the characters and species most prominent in Books 1-4:

Kazier, Kinue, Tokkali, Shen wildlife and Talfi

These are colored pencil renderings or rough paintings, used as models for finished acrylic portraits, in progress.

Maksen in dress uniform (Kazier Imperial Security or as Ambassador)

Tokkali ConFleet officer, like Jalna, seated comfortably.

Zak, in his wedding suit. A Kinue married to Ada Arai-Kemal.

Vice Admiral Tama, the head of Strategic Intelligence/External (all the books). And a role in Farehan Defence Force that no one knows about (Cats)

A FAREHA.

What do the Talfi look like?

This is a Talfa, from the rear. Powerful legs for leaping, augmented by servos when in combat. Sensory organs in gold. These are a combination of multi-sense and single-sense organs, covering the Human visual spectrum, infrared plus sound at twice the Human Range.

Closeup of hasta. Tusks for digging. Farmed hsata gave rise to lineages of cultured ‘meat’ that the Kazier enjoy. Head includes several dozen sensors for various wavelengths, to avoid predators and find food and mates.

Closeup of benighar, which prefers the nectar of these tree-fern-analogs.

Bekelli, an important species in Cats, book #6 in the Kim series.

Two Sector Naval Command Bases

The Homeworld of the Tokkali. Living blocks. Transit. Short-range via brachiation of their locomotor-tentacles - large and strong. Most of the planet is deep jungle, here a scene near a city, where ancestral jungle (thinned out) is a park, for nature lovers to exercise authentically.
Standard zooming magneto-cars for longer distance.

Cloud cities floating in the thicker-than-Terra atmosphere.

The L-shaped grey structure at left-center is the access ‘ramp’ that seals against the shuttle for safe transfer to the dome.

A Fareha cityscape. Innovative, exciting designs. These are all living quarters, workspaces or government-access.
